what is, is...

happiness. a strange feeling. has society's values changed? or rather distorted? perhaps it has always been shaped by the unshaped, or is this deformity such a necessary attribute in man that it is constantly present regardless of eras, and has become so much a part of the error of human free will that it is no longer noticeable. the individual is a prisoner of the spiritual, mental, intellectual, and physiological and socio-atmospheric circumstances arising from all of these, and of the mutation that can be derived from their ethical or unethical functioning, which accompanies him from birth to death in this world? this strange and barely descriptible paradoxical barrier to happiness, in other words, the thesis that unhappiness can be overcome without any significant effort.
what makes an individual happy? And for how long?  What regulates the proportions between joy and sorrow, contentment and deprivation, inner harmony and chaos? Money? Hardly. It is an indisputable element of 21st century life, but as Adam Smith said, "money is nothing more than (polluting) oil in the economy", and it also contributes to the welfare of purchasable consumer goods. But what about the NON-purchasable goods? The power of money is withering away, capital is sinking into the quagmire that it has partly created itself. Nothing dissolves in the dense, impenetrable forest of the soul.
So what is happiness? The sum of moments when everything happens as the individual plans, when his dreams seem to come true for a while? But what dreams?  prestigious high school, a diploma from a prestigious university, a high income, 3 luxury cars in the garage, a four-story villa in the 4 corners of the world. but happiness probably does not depend on these, since these are all illusions of happiness and comfort fattened by the eyes of a good farmer.

do problems disappear when we are happy? of course not, but they fade for a while, they are dwarfed by the momentary feeling of joy, the individual takes obstacles more easily, and even accepts unfavorable events as adventurous challenges or with satisfaction mixed with sadness, if he even thinks of such things, which would not be ignorance, but ataraxia rooted in a raised collective spiritual ego. the world becomes simpler, more transparent, predictable and calm when viewed from a cliff jutting out from a mountainside. quiet and distant.  Only what the observer allows to be close in thought is close. Money, work, school, OBLIGATIONS do not reach the peaks. Why doesn't everyone have their own cliff jutting out from the mountainside, from where they can HAPPILY look into the distance, where the sun always shines, and where the spectacle is not the grotesque grins or the hate-radiating eyes of the current media saints and foaming-mouthed politicians, but the indescribable colors of peaceful nature and the migrating cloud shapes above the hills...
